E3 2013 is over. Softonic attended the monster games conference, and was seriously impressed by what we saw. Battlefield 4 looked like it’s got an impressive multiplayer mode, Final Fantasy 15 revealed its new real-time combat, and Smash Bros is back.

Facebook adopts the hashtag. Facebook’s hopped on the hashtag bandwagon, following in the footsteps of Instagram, Tumblr, Pinterest and, of course, Twitter. The new feature lets you group messages, videos and images that are related to a single theme.

Google Maps to integrate Waze. This hybrid map/social network app has been bought by Google in order to improve Google Maps. Waze has 50 million users sharing real-time information about traffic, making it one of the most reliable positioning services around.

iOS 7 – Revolution is coming. The World Wide Developers Conference saw the presentation of a radical change to Apple’s mobile operating system, as well as OSX Mavericks. The flat design, which wasn’t welcomed by all, joins a long list of new features like a Control Center, a new Safari, iTunes and AppStore and, lastly, a male voice for Siri.
