Popular email app Mailbox is now available on Mac in beta. Mailbox allows you to use gestures on your Mac’s trackpad to organize your email. You can swipe left or right to archive, delete and set a reminder for email.

The best feature about Mailbox for Mac is how it turns emails into reminders. Have a credit card bill you have to pay but don’t want to worry about it until the evening? You can snooze the email and Mailbox will bring it back to the top of your inbox in the evening.

Mailbox also integrates with Dropbox, who purchased the app over a year ago. The app leverages Dropbox’s sync technology to keep your email and drafts in sync. Your changes sync to your other devices instantaneously.

The Mailbox experience is fast and fluid, making it really easy to interact with email in bulk. It’s not for everyone, however, as it doesn’t support folders or labels that Gmail users are used to. The only option to sort your email is to delete, archive, or add it to a list. Hopefully Mailbox will bring folders and labels in a later update.

To try the Mailbox beta for Mac, you have to sign up for a “betacoin” that you have to drag and drop into the app for it to work. This is to ensure Dropbox’s servers aren’t overloaded by new users trying out the app. You can sign up for a betacoin at the Mailbox site.

Mailbox is also available for Android and iOS.
