Group screen sharing is now available free on the latest versions of Skype for Windows and Mac. Until now, sharing your screen with two or more people was only available for Skype Premium users.

Group video calls on Skype are possible for up to ten people, although the company suggests no more than five people to maintain a high quality call. Now you can show people what’s on your screen during a call with group screen sharing. This can help you explain an idea and is especially useful for giving technical advice to family or friends.

Screensharing is only possible from Windows or OS X, and only with the latest update to Skype. People using older operating systems with legacy versions of Skype will be left out unless they update.
