Google has revealed the next version of Android, dubbed Lollipop, but when will you be able to get it for your device?

Here’s a round up of the major Android manufacturers and devices with all the information available about when Android 5.0 will be available:

Nexus users will be updated to Android 5.0 ‘in the coming weeks’. This covers Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10, as well as the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9. You should have Lollipop by early November.

HTC users will have to wait longer. The company said it expects to roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop ‘within 90 days of receiving (it) from Google’. The HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 will get this update by February 2015, and HTC are also promising to bring Lollipop to other ‘One’ and ‘select’ devices shortly afterwards.

Samsung has been silent on the issue so far, but we have already seen an early version of Android 5.0 Lollipop with its own Touchwiz adaptions. It’s likely that the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 will be first, and there are rumors from SamMobile they may be updated as early as November or December. We can’t comment on other devices so far.

Motorola says both generations of Moto X and Moto G, plus the Moto G with 4G LTE, Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and Droid Mini will get Android 5.0 later this year.

Neither LG nor Sony have confirmed which devices will get Android 5.0, nor announced any timescale for pushing it. Most probably, their most current phones at least will get the update eventually. For LG that means LG G3 and G2 Pro, and for Sony the Xperia Z3, Xperia Z3 V and Xperia Z3 compact. However, these are currently just educated guesses.

Google Play Edition devices, including the Moto G and HTC One M8 will also get Android 5.0, probably at the same time as the Nexus phones.
