Social network Twitter updated its iPhone app today with a new profile view that mirrors the profile view on the web. Your cover photo, profile picture, and information is now easily glanceable.
The profile section of the Twitter app features three sections for Tweets, Photos and Favorites. This helps your content get discovered by new users much more easily.
The app is updated to fully support iOS 8, which was just released yesterday. Twitter added interactive notifications so you can retweet, favorite and follow someone right from the iOS 8 notification center. This means you can even interact with Twitter without unlocking your phone.
Interestingly, this update doesn’t apply to the iPad, which would display the revamped profile pages nicely with its larger screen. No word when Android users will get the update either.
