Clash of Clans arrives on Android. The popular iOS strategy game is now available for free download on Android devices. The goal of Clash of Clans is to build a village while defending it from outside threats. Construction, combat, and strategy merge in this game, which also offers optional paid upgrades for additional content.

The end of Symbian is near. Nokia has set January 1, 2014 as the official end date of Symbian and Meego. From January 1st, no new apps or upgrades will be available from the Nokia Store. It seems like a pretty drastic move considering the latest Symbian came out just last year.

Android is safer than iPhone. This, at least, according to Eric Schmidt. The Executive Chairman of Google said in a recent interview that Android’s operating system is more secure than Apple’s. What Schmidt didn’t explain is the basis this claim. We’ll compare the safety of Android and iOS in an article next week, so stay tuned.
