avast! 2014 now available. avast! has launched its 2014 product line. Its most popular software is the free antivirus, which has been revamped once again with a brand new look. Its biggest concern this year, however, was to make the fastest and lightest antivirus on the market.

Angry Birds GO! gets a release date. Rovio has announced December 11th, 2013 as the release date for Angry Birds GO! The Mario Kart style game, featuring the classic Angry Birds and Bad Piggies characters from the extremely popular Angry Birds game series, promises hours of fun for iPhone, iPad and Android.

LEGO: Marvel Super Heroes publishes a demo. The new game, featuring your favorite Marvel superheroes as LEGO men, shows off the aesthetics and sharp sense of humor that we’ve come to expect from LEGO games. According to its creators, no game has ever included this many Marvel characters. See for yourself and check out the free demo.

Windows 8.1 has arrived. The long awaited update for Windows 8 is now available to download. The Home button, as well as full integration with Bing and SkyDrive, are just a few of the highlights of the updated OS. If you already have Windows 8, the upgrade is free. If not, you can always try out the 90-day free trial before taking the plunge.
