Your smartphone and PC can’t talk to one another, but that’s changing with the latest update for Pushbullet. If you want to share a site with a friend on WhatsApp but you’re reading on your PC, there’s no easy way to copy and paste the link.
You could send yourself an email, copy the link on your phone and then paste it into WhatsApp but there’s a simpler way. The latest update to Pushbullet for Android syncs your clipboard between devices.

Now you can copy text on your PC and it’ll sync automatically to your Android. On your phone, all you need to do is long-press on a text field to paste whatever you copied. It works seamlessly in both directions during my testing.
You’ll need to have both Pushbullet for Android and the beta of Pushbullet for PC for this to work. Pushbullet for PC isn’t finished and it shows. The interface is ugly but it works. Notifications show up just like with the Chrome extension and you can send links, messages, lists and addresses.
