If you haven’t played Portal, do yourself a favor and pick both up during this sale. Portal has gained a cult following for its challenging puzzles and hilarious writing. Plus, the story of Portal is tied directly into the Half-Life canon.

With the success of the first Portal, Valve didn’t waste any time sitting on their laurels and created Portal 2, an even better game. There are new types of puzzles that will really scramble your brains and even more hilarious dialogue from the characters within the game.

You cannot call yourself a gamer without having played Portal!

If you like blowing stuff up, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is your game. The popular first person shooter for the PC is on sale today.

There may not be much of a story to follow but there sure is a ton of action, explosions, and shooting to keep your heart racing throughout the single player campaign. Done with that? No worries, Modern Warfare 3’s real value is its multiplayer mode where you can play with your friends or strangers online.

Might and Magic Heroes VI

If strategy is more your thing, Steam has you covered. Might and Magic Heroes VI is a turned-based strategy game that puts you in the ultimate battle between good and evil. While Jon found the story to be “quite convoluted,” game play and graphics are great.

If you’ve been curious about playing a strategy game, Might and Magic Heroes VI is easy enough to pick up, even if you don’t have a ton of experience with strategy games.

There will be more games on sale every day so keep checking Steam’s website. Stock up on games you’ve missed or have been curious about.
