Temple Run 2 is getting a special St. Patrick’s day update on Android and iOS. The massively popular endless runner game now comes equipped with a green hat you can put on any character, and five St Patrick’s day artifacts can be found scattered among the game.
The artifacts are hidden in chests, placed randomly along the runs. Developer Imangi Studios has not announced what the artifacts are, and there are no new levels in this update, version 1.8. This isn’t the first time Temple Run has been updated with a hat and artifacts: last month there was a Valentine’s update, and in December 2013 you could play as Santa Clause for a limited time, as well as use a Christmas hat on your other characters.
Temple Run 2 is a free download for iOS and Android, and has optional in-game purchases.
