Later today the first trailer for The Sims 4 is expected to be shown at the Gamescom EA conference. The official Sims Twitter account announced earlier today that at 7am PDT something Sims 4 related will happen, and all the evidence points to a trailer.

Sims 4 screenshots were leaked last week, and we have been expecting the game to be presented at this years’ Gamescom conference. We do know that The Sims 4 will avoid the problems that SimCity had, as it’s being built as primarily a single player offline game. EA says it has listened to gamers, and doesn’t want to be hated, so is trying to give the community what it wants with The Sims 4.
The Sims 4 will have more intelligent and ’emotionally rich’ Sims, and you’ll have much more powerful creative tools so you’ll be able to create the home of your dreams, and Sims that looks just how you want them to. EA promises Sim neighborhoods will be more vibrant too, and you’ll be able to share what you create with other players, as well as download other people’s creations.
