We visited EA Games to play the upcoming 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, a special edition of the FIFA series to coincide with the competition in Brazil this summer.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is out on April 15th in the US, so you’ll have a couple of months to practice before the real tournament starts in June. It’s being released for PS3 and Xbox 360, but not any of the next gen consoles, apparently because of the low up-take of next-gen consoles in developing countries.

We expect 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil to generally be the same game as FIFA 14, last year’s excellent soccer game from EA, although there were some issues with the gameplay balancing of FIFA 14 upon release: have they all been fixed for 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil?

You can read our full hands on preview to see which gameplay changes have been implemented, and whether EA has managed to capture the Brazilian soccer atmosphere in their latest title.
