Apple released iTunes 11.3 today, bringing extra content to high-definition video purchased from the iTunes Store. Called iTunes Extra, Mac and Apple TV users will have access to additional content like deleted scenes and director’s commentary.
The update brings iTunes Extra content to media you previously purchased as well. The best news? It’s all free. iTunes Extra content will be added automatically as soon as it’s available.
iOS users will soon be able to enjoy all this additional content as well. Apple announced that iOS 8 will support iTunes Extra. The operating system is expected to launch some time this fall.
To get the iTunes 11.3 update, PC users can check their Apple Software Update app and Mac users can visit the updates tab in the Mac App Store. If you don’t have iTunes yet, you can download it below.
