Google Drive for the web received a minor update today that brings a new activity stream to the productivity suite. Now it’s easier than ever to see what files have been created, moved, and edited. Users who collaborate using Google Drive will find the new feature a great way to quickly see which documents have been modified.

Users can access the activity stream by clicking the ⓘ button to the top right of Google Drive. This activates a column, which displays all of the documents that have been edited. Google lets users control what notifications they receive by allowing them to select alerts for specific documents. Clicking on a specific document will show only the notifications for that specific document.

The activity stream will be rolling out over the next week so you may not get the new feature immediately.
