fish out of water iconThe developers of Fruit Ninja, Halfbrick Studios, released more information about its upcoming game, Fish Out of Water. The trailer shows off a cast of cartoon fish with tons of powerups. The game will be released tomorrow, April 18th for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Fish Out of Water looks like a mashup between Angry Birds and Tiny Wings where players will have to flick a fish as far as possible and help it skim across the water. There are tons of powerups and collectables throughout the level to keep the player engaged. Levels are dynamic, meaning the weather and obstacles change as you progress through the levels. At the end of each game, a group of five crabs will give you scores that are averaged into your overall score.

The game will cost $0.99 in the Apple App Store and will be a universal app that works across devices.
