Yahoo!’s renaissance continues under the direction of CEO Marisa Mayer by announcing that the company will have a new logo next month. To generate some hype, Yahoo! is going to be putting up a new logo every day for the next 30 days.
“Beginning now, we will display a variation of the logo on our homepage and throughout our network in the U.S. for the next month. It’s our way of having some fun while honoring the legacy of our present logo,” writes Kathy Savitt, Yahoo!’s Chief Marketing Officer. The new logo shown off today is modern and less cartoon-ish than the current logo.
Yahoo! will finally reveal their new logo on September 4th, 9PM PT or midnight ET. In the meantime, check out the trailer for Yahoo!’s 30 days of change below.
