Any fears that King’s sequel to Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Soda Saga, would be a flop have been put to rest with between 10 and 50 million Google Play store downloads and its number one spot on the iTunes Charts. There are more levels already available in a new episode with its first update.

Candy Crush Soda Saga version 1.31.24 introduces Licorice Pastures, which adds 15 new levels to the game (that’s 165 in total). A new power-up, Bottle Cannons, has also been introduced.

For the uninitiated, Candy Crush Soda Saga is a free-to-play shape matching game (similar to Bejeweled). You can play it for free, or make your life easier by buying in game gold bars, which range from $0.99 to $39.99. Like its predecessor Candy Crush Saga, it mixes compelling puzzle gameplay with bright colors and a progression system that keeps you coming back for more (and possibly paying to do so more quickly).

Download Candy Crush Soda Saga for iOS and Android.
