There’s a hidden Notification Center in Windows 10 Technical Preview

Windows 10 is still a work-in-progress, but that’s why Microsoft released it as a preview for users to try out and provide feedback. While its features aren’t complete yet, we did manage to find a hidden notification center in Windows 10, which works to gather all your computer’s notifications in one place. Here’s how it works.

Rumor: Google Play experimenting with app trials

Google maybe working on letting you try an app before you buy it. Google Play still nets less profits for app developers than Apple’s App Store but Google hopes to change this. By allowing users to test out apps, or even just specific parts of an app, customers may start buying more apps.

Google hires camel to capture desert Street View

This week, Google hired a camel to help it map out the Liwa Oasis in Abu Dhabi. What the camel managed to capture is breathtaking. Sand dunes everywhere you look as well as some rare lush parts of the desert. This isn’t the first time Google created unique Street View experiences. Earlier this year, Google took us on a narrated and interactive tour of Marseille, France.

Alien: Isolation out now

The Xenomorph is back in the much anticipated Alien: Isolation, out for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. The story takes place in the year 2137, 15 years after the events of Alien. You’ll play as Amanda Ripley as she tries to find out what happened to her mother. Alien: Isolation departs from the terrible Aliens: Colonial Marines by becoming a survival horror game. Instead shoot up everything you see, Isolation requires you to use stealth. The game isn’t perfect though, as there are a few hilarious glitches that make the game just a little bit less scary.
