The self-destructing sharing app, Snapchat, is getting a makeover today. The updated app for iPhone features a new UI with a transparent menu bar at the bottom and gesture controls. Users can now swipe between the camera, friends list, and inbox, instead of requiring users to tap on the icons at the bottom. There are other minor usability updates like double-tapping to reply and simplification of adding friends.
Android users will have to wait for this update as there’s no announced release date for the operating system. iPhone users can get the update at the download link below.
