As we reported yesterday, Facebook Stickers have been rolled out to comments on posts, groups posts and events. However, if you’re not a fan of these big, sometimes animated images there’s a new browser extension, Unsticker Me, that can disable them.
The extension works in desktop versions of Firefox and Chrome, and gets rid of stickers everywhere except in messages. The developer Rodney Folz says the extension is for anyone who hates ‘stickers and fun’. In Firefox simply go to the add-ons library and install it here. With Chrome, visit the web store here to get the extension.
As you can see, a disadvantage of Unsticker Me is what you see in comments instead: [sticker]. If your friends are using stickers, you’ll have no idea what they were trying to express. While your Facebook may look the way you like it, you won’t understand what comments are saying.
