Mobile World Congress 2015 kicked off today and we have our editors scouring the show floor for the coolest apps and software. HTC and Samsung stole the show for this first day of the event, showing off their new flagship phones, the HTC One M9 and the Samsung Galaxy S6.

We got another look at the Technical Preview of Windows 10 but Microsoft is staying tight-lipped about the upcoming operating system. Wearable are huge this year, with all the major phone manufacturers coming out with their vision of what a smartwatch should be. Android Wear dominates smartwatches right now but Samsung thinks it can do better with its own smartwatch operating system.

Keyboards make typing on a smartphone faster and we got a chance to check out the emoji-filled TouchPal keyboard. Popular smartphone keyboard, Fleksy, is making its way onto smartwathces now and impressed us with its accurate text prediction.

That concludes day one of our Mobile World Congress 2015 coverage. Stay tuned for more news and video from the show.
