Many people may still not have updated to iOS 8.0.2, but Apple is forging ahead with updates, and the next one, iOS 8.1, has already been pushed out to members of the Apple Developer Program.

The most significant change for this upcoming update is the inclusion of Apple Pay. This system will allow you to add credit and debit card details to your iPhone and pay for things with a combination of Near Field Communication and Touch ID.

On Twitter, users @hamzasood shared a screenshot of a new settings page in iOS where you can add your credit or debit card data for use with the system.

iOS 8.1 fixes yet more bugs, but appears not to add any more features apart from Apple Pay.

If you’re not in the Apple Developer program, the latest version of iOS is 8.0.2, which was hastily released after the previous version proved disastrous for iPhone 6 users.
