FIFA 15‘s companion app FIFA 15 Ultimate team has been released worldwide for iOS, Android and Windows Phone, following the web app’s launch last week.

The app got a soft launch in Canada last week, and soccer fans can now get it worldwide. FIFA 15 Ultimate Team allows you to create and test your dream soccer team, like in FIFA 15, and also play matches. The mode in FIFA 15 is about management and the transfer market, and the mobile app also allows you to focus on this, as well as simulate matches instead of playing them.

Like many EA mobile offerings, FIFA 15 Ultimate Team is free to play. You can play the game without spending money, but it’s designed to be more fun when you do invest in some in-app purchases of ‘FIFA points‘, packs which vary from $0.99 to $99.99. This year’s game is the first to support external controllers, which makes the game much more playable than with touch controls.
