Race fans will be excited to know that Codemasters has announced the release of F1 2013. The game will be available for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC later this fall.

There will be two versions of the game at the time of release: F1 2013 and F1 2013: Classic Edition. Both games will include all the cars, circuits, and drivers from the 2013 Formula 1 season such as Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Perez. The game also features updated rules, tire changes, and tweaked handling to make the cars feel more realistic.

Players can also look forward to getting their hands on classic Formula 1 cars from the 1980s. The Classic Edition will include even more content for F1 cars from the 1990s and additional classic tracks. For those who don’t pick up the Classic Edition, the additional content in the special edition will be available as DLC shortly after the game launches.

It’s interesting that Codemasters has chosen to bring F1 2013 to current generation consoles instead of next gen consoles like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The company cites their devotion to quality as the reason they did not want to port the game to next generation consoles.
