iPhone users who jailbreak their phones usually have to wait a while before updating to the latest software as Apple usually patches the specific exploit that jailbreaking takes advantage of. Today iPhone jailbreakers can rejoice as the iOS 6.1.2 update that was just released today, can be jailbroken.
The evad3rs, the jailbreak team that’s responsible for the evasi0n jailbreak, have confirmed on Twitter that the latest 1.4 update will indeed jailbreak iOS 6.1.2. Apple rushed out both iOS 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 updates to fix critical bugs and haven’t had the time to patch the jailbreak exploit.
