SimCity BuildIt will bring the well known city simulator franchise to mobile platforms ‘soon’, according to a press release from EA.
Apart from three screenshots and the fact that it’s coming to iOS and Android, not much has been revealed about the game. EA says you’ll “evolve your city in a variety of ways. Meet your citizens’ needs to keep them happy, or make questionable choices and feel your citizens’ wrath.”
In terms of graphics, you’ll be able to pinch, zoom and rotate your city 360 degrees. We’re waiting to see if this will be a free to play or premium app. Going on recent history, the former is more likely, as was the case with Plants vs. Zombies 2 and Dungeon Keeper. While free to play often creates controversy online, it doesn’t seem to dent the popularity of games.
