The franchise that essentially gave birth to first person shooters like Call of Duty is back this May with Wolfenstein: The New Order, and you can see the latest video trailer for the game below.

Taking place ‘on a train to Berlin’, the trailer shows you being given a test by Nazi ‘Obersturmbannführer Engel’ to determine if you have ‘impure blood’ in your veins, watched over by a deadly Nazi mech robot. It’s atmospheric, and good looking, as it uses id Software’s impressive id Tech 5 engine. While it’s using id technology, this is the first Wolfenstein title to be developed outside of that company, as MachineGames is at the helm for this game.

Wolfenstein: The New Order is set in an alternative 1960s, where Germany won the second World War. They now have advanced technology, like the aforementioned mech-robot. As William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, you’ll go on an ‘impossible’ mission to take down the Nazi’s, who control Europe.
