Apple announces bestselling apps for App Store 5th anniversary

After announcing five popular apps and games that are now free, to celebrate five years of the App Store, Apple has released the list of the all time top iOS downloads. There should be no surprises about the top selling iPhone app – it’s Angry Birds, and many of its sequels and related games also feature in the top lists.

The apps Apple is giving away to celebrate are Barefoot World Atlas, journal app Day One, How to Cook Everything, Photo editor Over, and Traktor DJ for iPhone. The five games are Where’s My Water, Tiny Wings, the excellent Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP, Infinity Blade II and Badland.
