We speculated that Android 5.0 Lollipop would arrive today and we were right. Google announced the availability of the operating system in a blog post today, highlighting Lollipop’s visual overhaul called “Material Design.”
Animations are at the heart of the redesign of Android, helping to give context to interactions. Tapping on a contact will show a translucent circle, which expands into the contact’s call screen. Check it out below.
